SM: AC Milan make official offer for Barcelona defender

AC Milan want to make Barcelona left-back Junior Firpo their last signing. An offer has been presented to Barca.

AC Milan are serious interested in Barcelona defender Junior Firpo. Having completed the signing of Meite and Mario Mandzukic, the Rosssneri are currently closing the last details for Fikayo Tomori but that ill not be the end of the mercato.

AC Milan still need one full-back to complete the squad. Andrea Conti is joining Parma on loan with the obligation to buy for 7 million euros. Diogo Dalot will return in his natural position on the right so the Rossoneri need a new a left-back. An alternative to Theo Hernandez.

In recent days, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have opened talks with Barcelona and with the agents of Junior Firpo. One of the agents representing Firpo is Sufiel Abdelkader, the father Milan midfielder of Brahim Diaz.

Sportmediaset confirms the close contacts between AC Milan and Barcelona. AC Milan have asked Junior Firpo on loan for the remining of the season with the option to make the transfer permanent for a fee of 15 million euros. Barca value the Spanish left-back at 20 million.

The player has already said yes to Maldini. Barcelona signed Junior Firpo from Real Betis in 2019 for a fee of 18 million euros. The Spanish left-back has made 10 appearances so far.
