AC Milan offer renewal to three other players: the details

Alessio Romagnoli was just the first. AC Milan are preparing to renew the contracts of at least three other players this month reports Tuttosport.

Two days ago the Rossoneri announced the contract renewal of Alessio Romagnoli until 2022. The player decided to continue his career at AC Milan despite interest from several other clubs. But he will not be the only Milan player to sign a new contract this month. According to Tuttosport the management is ready to do the same with at least three other players.

The next one to sign a contract extension will be Marco Storari, AC Milan’s third goalkeeper who despite his 40 years of age has decided to continue at least for another season his adventure with the Red and Blacks. All the details have been agreed and the club has offered the renewal as a sign of appreciation for Storari given his importance inside the locker room.

The second could be Giacomo Bonaventura, who according to Tuttosport has chosen to stay at Milanello for a long time against the will of his agent Mino Raiola. At the moment, Juventus and Roma have ended their interest in him so the former Atalanta will be able to renew without too many problems at least until 2022.

Finally Cristian Zapata: the Colombian defender’s contract expires in a year and the Rossoneri have proposed a two-year extension. The club feels that the squad needs a centre back of experience and one like Zapata is always convenient, especially if the Red and Blacks are allowed to play in Europa League for next season. After the trio, Cutrone could be next.
