AC Milan have asked Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa in exchange for Lucas Paqueta. Chiesa is on the market for a fee of 70 million euros.
AC Milan have never hidden their interest in Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa. The 22-year-old right winger has been one of the best performers of Serie A attracting the interest of many European top clubs.
AC Milan and Fiorentina are in talks regarding the future of Lucas Paqueta. The Brazilian midfielder has been on Fiorentina’s radar since January and the Rossoneri have tried to insert in talks also Chiesa. According to reports by journalist Nicolo Schira, Milan have asked for information on Federico Chiesa and defender Nikola Milenkovic.
The Viola have asked Paqueta on loan while the Rossoneri have rejected insisting on his permanent sale. Fiorentina have made a new bid offering Pol Lirola as technical counterpart but AC Milan are only interested in Chiesa.
Fiorentina are open to selling Federico Chiesa in the summer but his price tag is 70 million euros. The player on the other hand is asking for a long-term contract of €5 million per season. This number seem out of AC Milan’s budget for now.
The Fiorentina winger is a fan of AC Milan and Shevchenko but that will not be enough for him to join the Rossoneri. His 70 million price tag is prohibitive for AC Milan. Due to their financial restrictions the Rossoneri can’t make large investments without selling of their top players.
