Despite numerous purchases this month AC Milan could have added another signing before the end of the summer transfer window.
AC Milan were one of the most active clubs in the transfer market this summer despite Leonardo and Maldini being at the club for less than one month. The Rossoneri signed Bakayoko and Halilovic for the midfield but the club tried to ad a third purchase.
Italian newspaper Record reveals an interesting backstory regarding the Rossoneri’s mercato. According to Record, AC Milan yesterday made a last minute attempt for 31 year old central midfielder Ramires.
The former Brazil international played for 6 seasons in England with Chelsea before completing a surprise move to China for nearly 30 million euros. Jiangsu Suning, however, rejected the Rossoneri’s advances responding negatively to an offer from technical director Leonardo.
