Gazzetta: AC Milan to make double signing in attack

Both Angel Correa and Luka Jovic could join AC Milan in the last days of the summer transfer window, a report from Gazzetta claims.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS –There are still two weeks until the end of the summer transfer window“, clarified technical director Paolo Maldini, yesterday, during the presentation of Rafael Leao, Bennacer and Leo Duarte. Meaning that AC Milan considers all the tracks open until the last day.

At this moment Madrid is not only the Spanish capital abut also the center of Milan’s mercato. Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are the only two clubs AC Milan are interested in making business. Angel Correa remains the plan A of the Rososneri while Real Madrid with Jovic and Diaz represent an alternative solution.

However, AC Milan are thinking of joining the two scenarios in one. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Angel Correa could join the Rossoneri accompanied by Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic.

While the Argentine striker would clearly arrive an on permanent deal, Jovic would land on loan without the right or obligation to buy. Real Madrid spent €60 million for the 21-year-old striker but, due to the crowded numbers in attack, want to offer him on a season-long loan.

Mariano Diaz on the other hand will certainly not join AC Milan. The Rossoneri don’t see Diaz capable of partnering with Piatek in attack and have rejected a potential transfer for the former Lyon. His high salary was another factor. Diaz will also not be even the Pole’s back-up because Milan count a lot on new signing Rafael Leao to challenge Piatek for a spot in the starting eleven.
