AC Milan are looking to sell a big number of players in order to fund moves for new signings with Lucas Paqueta on top of that list.
Ciprian Tatarusanu will be AC Milan’s next signing, after those of Brahim Diaz and Sandro Tonali (besides the confirmation of Zlatan Ibrahimovic). The Rossoneri’s transfer business will not stop here. As widely said, Maldini and Massara will certainly buy a new midfielder to work alongside Bennacer, Kessie and Tonali. At the moment the choice seems between Bakayoko and Soumare. A new defender is also on the list.
However, sales are desperately needed in order to make new purchases. The player at the top of the list to leave is certainly Lucas Paqueta. AC Milan are in negotiations with Lyon and he could leave Milan for a figure close to 25 million euros. The French club first need to make one or two sales before presenting an official bid to the Rossoneri.
Another player sure to leave is Diego Laxalt who is liked with a number of clubs in Spain but above all in Russia, just like Alen Halilovic. Milan are in search of a centre back because Leo Duarte should leave, probably on loan. The initial plan of the Rossoneri was to sell Musacchio but his injury forced the club to change plans.
Rade Krunic will pay the price for so many midfielders coming in. Milan spent 8 million euros to buy him last summer from Empoli and will not accepts any bids below that figure. His former club Empoli, and Freiburg, are interested in the Bosnia international.
The future of Tommaso Pobega is still unclear. With another cntral midfiedler expected to arrive the play time of the talented youngster would be very limited so perhaps another loan spell would be the ideal solution. Finally, Milan’s hope is still to sell one between Conti and Calabria to make room for a new right-back, but this hypothesis seems to be fading because, to date, there seem to be no offers.
