AC Milan have pact with Real Madrid for the future of Diaz
AC Milan are very pleased with the performances of Brahim Diaz and have an agreement with Real Madrid reports Di Marzio.
Even yesterday, Brahim Diaz was deployed by Stefano Pioli from the first minute and he did not disappoint the expectations. The Spanish talent managed to find the back of the net again after his very important goal against Juventus. Diaz this time scored the third goal of the Rossoneri after a great assist from Franck Kessie.
The first season of Brahim Diaz in Italy has been positive. The 21-year-old has scored 7 goals and assisted 4 in 37 appearances so far while mostly playing as an alternative to Hakan Calhanoglu.
Brahim joined AC Milan during the last days of the summer transfer window. He arrived on loan from Real Madrid but the Rossoneri have no option to make his transfer permanent at the end of the season.
Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that there is a gentleman’s agreement between AC Milan and Real Madrid to sit down and discuss the future of Diaz after the season is over. In the past, AC Milan had tried to sign Diaz when he was about to leave Manchester City in 2019.
Now the most likely option is that the loan is renewed for one more year reports Di Marzio. The young attacking midfielder wants to play more and Real Madrid can’t give him any guarantees. Milan, on the other hand, will be happy to keep him but this time a purchase option will be negotiated upfront.
