AC Milan will bring a new top defender in the summer and Ivan Gazidis in collaboration with Rangnick have a three-name list.

April and May will be two decisive months for the Rossoneri. Despite the Serie A stop due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the AC Milan management is planning the summer transfer campaign.

According to Tuttosport, in the summer AC Milan will pay a special focus to the defence. Ivan Gazids has started to move in accordance Ralf Rangnick had has a three-names list for the summer.

The plan is simple: find a new partner for Alessio Romagnoli and sell Mateo Musacchio. Celtic centre back Kristoffer Ajer is reportedly the top name of the list. The 21-year-old defender has publicly declared that he will leave the Scottish club in the summer. Celtic and AC Milan have already had talks in the past and Celtic rate Kristoffer Ajer up to €40 million. Despite his year age Ajer has over 200 appearances to his name.

Slightly younger that Ajer is Evan N’Dicka. Last season N’Dicka moved to Eintracht Frankfurt for just €5.5 million and immediately established himself as one of the brightest prospects in Bundesliga. However, this season he has become a key player of Eintracht Frankfurt and is currently rated at €25 million. AC Milan are set to meet in the summer to discuss the situation of Rebic and Andre Silva. A perfect opportunity to also talk about Evan N’Dicka.

The third name is that of Marseille’s defender Boubacar Kamara. The 20-year-old centre back became a regular starter last year but this season he has cemented his role as one of Marseille’s best players. Kamara first entered in AC Milan’s radar in 2018 and has since been compared to Thiago Silva. His market value is at around 30 million but his contract expires in two years.
