Franck Kessie could follow Cutrone at Wolverhampton with the Premier League club offering €28 million for the AC Milan midfielder.
MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – After selling Patrick Cutrone for €25 million to Wolverhampton, AC Milan risk losing another player to the English club. The Wolves have now set their sights on Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.
The Rossoneri made a considerable sacrifice in selling one of the most promising Italian youngsters in England but that may not be enough. In order to respect the Financial Fair Play and also fund moves for other players Milan must sell another important player.
AC Milan continue to negotiate the signing of Angel Correa and, with Andre Silva’s move to Monaco currently off, the club may be forced to find alternative solutions. With Suso and Donnarumma set to stay at San Siro AC Milan could sacrifice Kessie instead.
Wolverhampton have been following Franck Kessie for the past year and are determined to bring him in England. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Wolverhampton have offered of 28 million euros for Kessie. An interesting figure but AC Milan value the 22-year-old central midfielder around 40 million. The player is also tempted by the perspective of playing in Premier League.
AC Milan signed Kessie from Atalanta for 32 million euros. The Ivorian international has made 96 appearances with the Rossoneri over the last two years.
