Gazzetta: AC Milan to block the “German Kaka”

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – AC Milan are thinking about the future and are in negotiations to sign Florian Neuhaus. The 22-year-old Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder in Germany is being compared to Rossoneri legend Kaka and local idol Matthaeus. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan had a meeting with the player’s agent, Christian Nerlinger, and are setting up a transfer for Neuhaus to take place in the summer of 2020.

At the moment, the Rossoneri do not intend to make additional signings in that department, except in case of sudden departures. However, AC Milan are enchanted by the star of the German Under-21 national team, especially Paolo Maldini. For this reason, a transfer strategy has already been planned in an attempt to block Neuhaus for next season. His contract will expire in June 2021 and the talented midfielder will be available on a very affordable fee.

Logically, Borussia Monchengladbach are trying to renew the player’s contract but the player has refused. AC Milan’s interest has had an effect on his decision and, crazy offers excluded, Neuhaus seems destined to join Marco Giampaolo’s side. A transfer in 2020 would allow AC Milan to sign the 22-year-old midfielder for a fee well below his true value.

The Rossoneri are moving quickly, because Bayern Munich, as often happens with German talents, are interested in the services of Florian Neuhaus. AC Milan and his agent will have a second meeting when the summer transfer window is closed in September to speed up talks and probably close a deal in advance.
