AC Milan made a big win yesterday against Macedonian side of Shkendija. The rossoneri were unstoppable scoring 6 goals along the way and equalizing a long held record.
Amazing game yesterday against Shkendija in San Siro. AC Milan led by new captain Leonardo Bonucci romped to a 6 goals victory over Shkendija. It was not a tough opponent but it was an opponent to not be underestimated. A solid win in front of more than 40,000 fans. A spectacular performance from the team guaranteeing a place in the group stage.
Andre Silva was on fire scoring twice together with ex captain Montolivo. New comer Fabio Borini and Luca Antonelli also added their names on the scoresheet to make it 6-0.
It was an important result and it was the first time Milan scored at least six goals in a continental match since October 1993, 24 years ago, when the rossoneri beat Copenhagen by the same scoreline in Denmark. Milan were incredible that night and even the homecrowd chanted “Milan, Milan“.
