Gustavo Gomez is leaving AC Milan to join Boca Juniors. The 25 year old departs the Rossoneri after just two seasons without leaving any trace.

After two seasons and just 19 appearances in Serie A, the Italian adventure of Gustavo Gomez has come to an end. The Rossoneri were trying to offload the player since January but at the time it was impossible for Massimilinao Mirabelli to reach an agreement with interested clubs.

Now, as expected, the 25 year old centre back is leaving AC Milan to join Boca Juniors who had been negotiating his transfer with the Rossoneri for the last six months.

The Paraguayan defender has successfully completed medical exams with the Argentine club and in the following hours will sign a long-term contract with his new club. AC Milan will earn 6 million euros and a 20% fee on a possible future resale. Good business by Mirabelli who managed to get a decent figure on a player who made only one appearance this season.
