AC Milan are weighting up of a move for Spanish winger Gerard Deulofeu who has already played for the Rossoneri in the past.
There are still no certainties on the budget available for the upcoming summer transfer window but AC Milan should carry out a fairly important transfer campaign regardless of Elliott’s permanence or not. The management has already identified the roles in which to intervene and the attack is the priority.
Particular attention will be paid to the right wing with both Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias at risk of leaving the club. Spanish newspaper Sport reports that AC Milan are considering a sensational bid for Gerard Deulofeu.
The Spanish right winger was part of the Rossoneri for the second half of the 2016/17 season. Despite his short spell at San Siro, Deulofeu played an important role for Vincenzo Montella’s squad scoring 4 goals and assisting 3 in 18 appearances. At the end of the season he moved to Barcelona but without leaving his mark.
Deulofeu’s return to Serie A has been very positive. The 28-year-old has scored 12 goals and provided 4 assists so far helping Udinese reach a comfortable mid-table position. With his contract expiring in two years, Udinese are open to negotiate a transfer for Deulofeu and have set a €20 million price tag.
Gerard Deulofeu has never stopped following and supporting AC Milan. He publicly complimented Rafael Leao for his performance against Atalanta. The former Barcelona talent still hopes of a return to San Siro according to reports. He could be an interesting option for the Rossoneri on the right wing. In addition, Deulofeu is a versatile player that can also play on the left wing and as second striker.
