Could there be a third time for Mario Balotelli at AC Milan? The highly controversial striker may return in Italy on a free transfer this summer.
The future of Mario Balotelli could be closely linked to that of Gianluigi Donnarumma and to the relationship between agent Mino Raiola and AC Milan, till now not exactly idyllic. The Italian centre forward wants to return in Italy, where he could be welcomed again by the Rossoneri or his first team, Inter.
AC Milan return remains a priority for the talented 27 year old and the club’s improving relationship with his agent Mino Raiola could favor the transfer, but, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, much will depend on the exits in attack, with Kalinic and Andre Silva who have failed to live up to expectations.
Mario Balotelli joined the red and blacks on January 2013 for 20 million euros from Manchester City and scored 30 goal in 54 appearances for the Rossoneri. He was sold to Liverpool in 2014 for the same figure but returned at San Siro on loan after one year but with disastrous results. This season Mario has scored 21 goals with Nice and his contract with the French club expires this August.
