AC Milan confirm interest in Argentine striker: the details
The interest of AC Milan in Argentine striker Adolfo Gaich is confirmed with Massara already in contact with the player and San Lorenzo.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported yesterday that AC Milan have reignited their interest in Argentine striker Adolfo Gaich. The San Lorenzo starlet has refused to renew his contract and will join a new club in the summer.
Today journalist Carlo Pellegatti, a source very close to AC Milan, confirms that the Rossoneri are seriously interested in the 21-year-old centre forward. Sporting director Frederic Massara has been in contacts with the player’s agent and his club.
Adolfo Gaich has a release clause of 15 million dollars but, considering that his contract expires in one year, he will surely leave for a lower fee. Calciomercato.it reports that San Lorenzo are willing to let Gaich leave for €8 million.
In the past AC Milan saw a 10 million bid rejected by San Lorenzo. However, the situation has changed since. The “Argentine tank” has informed San Lorenzo of his intentions to leave when the summer transfer window opens.
After making his breakthrough last season, Adolfo Gaich has scored 5 goals in 12 appearances in 2019/20 until the Coronavirus outbreak. The young striker is known for his strong physique, dribbling and style of play. Ralf Rangnick reportedly approves his signing.
