AC Milan complete first 2 January signings
AC Milan are always active on the transfer market. The Rossoneri have just completed their first two signings for January.
The Rossoneri have used this period of international break to work on the mercato. AC Milan have just completed the purchase of Hugo Cuenca. The 16-year-old Paraguayan central midfielder is considered a player with excellent potential. The youngster was very close to joining Milan during the summer but the agreement was completed later.
Journalist Nicolo Schira reported the details of Hugo Cuenca’s transfer revealing that the agreement was practically closed since last August but only today Maldini and Massara officially signed the necessary documents.
AC Milan have spent €400,000 to sign Hugo Cuenca from Deportivo Capiata. The Paraguay club will also have a 10% future transfer fee. Cuenca has signed a three-year contract that binds him to AC Milan until 2024. Hugo Cuenca is the second transfer closed by the Rossoneri in a few days.
A fee days ago, AC Milan completed the signing Bob Murphy Omoregbe from Serie D club Borgosesia Calcio. Both players with initially join the AC Milan Primavera squad coached by Federico Giunti. AC Milan paid a €100,000 transfer fee for the 18-year-old striker who has signed a three-year contract.
Bob Murphy Omoregbe was attracting attention with his performances in Serie D. The Italian striker has scored 4 goals and assisted 2 in 11 appearances with Borgosesia Calcio so far. In a recent interview the young striker compared himself to big champions like Dembele and Sterling.
“I have good physicality and I’m fast. Compared to the champions of international football, I have some characteristics similar to those of Dembele and Sterling. I’m a stubborn type but I want to learn and I understand quickly“, said Omoregbe.
