AC Milan coach: Two names that could succeed Giampaolo
The experience of Marco Giampaolo as coach of AC Milan could come to an end if the Rossoneri fail to win the upcoming matches.
The beginning of the new season has been very disappointing for AC Milan. With two victories and three defeats the Rossoneri are far from their initial goal of qualifying for Champions League.
Perhaps it is still too early but Marco Giampaolo so far has failed to transmit his ideas to the squad. There are also rumors that the new AC Milan coach has strong disagreements with Boban regarding the summer signings and especially the arrival of Rebic.
For his 4-3-1-2 formation to function, Giampaolo needs a trequartista, a really good one. After failing to purchase Angel Correa, AC Milan signed Rebic in the last day of the summer transfer window but the Croatian is a winger rather than an attacking midfielder.
The former Sampdoria coach for the moment is not risking his job but if AC Milan fail to win with Fiorentina, just like they did with Torino, the end of the line for Giampaolo could come closer than anyone thinks.
The names of his successor have already begun to circulate. According to journalist Carlo Pellegatti, at the moment, there are two names than can replace Giampaolo on AC Milan’s bench and both are available.
