AC Milan chasing Italy U17 youngster
AC Milan have surpassed Sassuolo for the signature of the young centre back Nicolo Canalicchio who plays for Ternana.
Alfredo Pedulla, transfer market expert of Sportitalia, through his site has unveiled an interesting news concerning AC Milan. The rossoneri are after Nicolo Canalicchio, 16 year old centre back born in 2001 with great prospective. At the same time he is a regular starer for Italy U17. It is a situation to be monitored carefully. He plays for Ternana, who were forced to summon him with the first team following the pressing of Checco Palmieri who would like to bring him at all costs to Sassuolo.
But in the last few hours AC Milan have surpassed Sassuolo and the rossoneri will send an observer on Sunday to monitor the young defender on Ternana’s next friendly match. Marco Fassone and Massimilano Mirabelli are working for the present but also for the future. Canalicchio is a very promising youngster that could do well at AC Milan for many years to come.
At the same time, according to Alfredo Pedulla, AC Milan are working on other targets. Starting from midfield. The rossoneri need to find a solution for the various Jose Sosa and Jose Mauri, while it’s more difficult to find a buyer for the ex captain Montolivo. The 19 year old midfielder, Manuel Locatelli is expected to stay, no loan move for him, confirming that AC Milan never thought to sell the talented young midfielder.
The rossoneri will make a new attempt for Renato Sanches on Saturday, he is very much liked but finding an agreement with Bayern Munich has proven to be difficult (read here). If Milan fail to reach a deal with the German club, Badelj may be Lucas Biglia’s substitute. The midfielder has several proposal from abroad but he likes manager Vincenzo Montella very much and will wait. He could be included in the Kalinic operation if Milan fail to sign Andrea Belotti.
