Alfredo Pedulla reports that Milan have blocked the signing of Fabio Borini from Sunderland while Gabriel is about to leave.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – Alfredo Pedulla announced the latest news regarding the transfer market movements from Casa Milan. The sports journalist, while discussing the calciomercato on Sportitalia has confirmed the rossoneri have long blocked Fabio Borini of Sunderland. The 26 year old left winger has spent most of his career in England playing for Chelsea, Swansea City, Liverpool and lately Sunderland while in Italy he enjoyed a fruitful spell at AS Roma.

His agent meet several times the rossoneri executives asking when can this operation be formalized. For the moment Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli are stalling because AC Milan have concentrated on the signing of Nikola Kalinic from Fiorentina. Torino don’t want to lower their demand of 100 million euros for Belotti with Milan quitting the negotiation. Kalinic is currently the only target and the club wants to close a deal as soon as possible.

Vincenzo Montella appreciates a lot Fabio Borini, a player able to play as centre forward or as left or right winger. Lazio are also interested for his services. If Milan do not close a deal soon Lazio will enter negotiations. It is not an expensive transfer considering Sunderland is relegated in Championship this season.

While according to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Milan are closing a deal to allow Gabriel to leave on loan at Spal. A positive meeting was held yesterday and his departure will be officialized in the upcoming days. AC Milan and Spal were negotiating even a possible loan for Rodrigo Ely and Leo Vangioni. A deal was unable to be reached due to players economic requests.

Spal asked Milan to cover a part of their salary but the rossoneri were unwilling to accommodate such a request. Hopefully Gabriel will be Spal’s main goalkeeper this season and start to play more regularly.
