AC Milan and Real Madrid to discuss 3 potential transfers
AC Milan will take advantage of a meeting with Real Madrid to inquire about Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard. Both players could leave this summer.
AC Milan have been using the international break to advance their transfer market plans. The Rossoneri will meet with the Sassuolo management in the coming days but that’s not all. AC Milan are also in contact with Real Madrid according to reports from Spain.
AC Milan and Real Madrid need to solve the future of Brahim Diaz. The Spanish attacking midfielder is on loan until 2023 and Milan have an option to make his transfer permanent but the parties are expected to outline his future at the end of this season. After a bright start, Diaz has faded in the second half of the season eventually losing his spot to Franck Kessie.
However, there are more interesting issues to discuss between Real Madrid and AC Milan than just Brahim Diaz. Sport Espana reports that AC Milan will take advantage of this meeting to ask about the situation of Blancos duo Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard.
Luka Jovic has been on AC Milan’s radar for a long time. The Serbian striker has not lived up to expectations since his €63 million transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt. Jovic have found very little space under Ancelotti, scoring just one goal in 13 league appearances for a total of 281 minutes played. His market value has fallen to less than 20 million.
Eden Hazard has failed to replicate his Chelsea form with the Spanish giants. The €115 million signing has lost his starting spot making only 22 appearances across all competitions. Hazard is expected to leave Real Madrid this summer and he could be available on loan but the high salary of the Belgian left winger is a problem for every interest club.
