Real Madrid vs AC Milan was a great opportunity for the two clubs to talk about the future of several players.
Today’s friendly match between Real Madrid and AC Milan ended in a goalless draw with the Rossoneri offering a very good performance. The classic encounter between the two clubs was also a good opportunity to talk about the mercato.
Los Blancos outcast Isco Alarcon is one of the main transfer targets of AC Milan for the attacking midfielder role. The Spanish star is set to leave Madrid this summer with his contract expiring in one year. Real Madrid are asking 18 million euros for Isco but, with a shortage of offers, the price tag could be lowered more. Isco’s salary of around 7 million per season is a big obstacle for the Rossoneri.
Another interesting name in Real Madrid’s roster is Dani Ceballos. The 25-year-old midfielder returned to Spain after a two-year loan at Arsenal. He is more an option for the central midfielder role rather than the trequartista. Ceballos is available on loan but the Rossoneri for the moment have prioritized other names.
The situation is much more easy for Alvaro Odriozola. With no progress being made for the return of Diogo Dalot, Odriozola is the alternative for the right back role. The Rossoneri plan to sign a player able to provide competition for Davide Calabria and Real are open to sanction his departure.
In recent days, reports from Spain emerged linking Franck Kessie with a move to Real Madrid. However, the Ivorian midfielder is staying in Italy. There is no truth to those rumors. Talks with AC Milan over the contract extension are at an advanced stage and the renewal is just a matter of time.
