AC Milan are about to close another sale with Nikola Kalinic very close Atletico Madrid. With the arrival of Higuain there is no place for Kalinic in Gattuso’s team.

Although Leonard has practically closed a deal for the signing of Bernard on a free transfer the technical director has asked for some time in order to conclude some exit operation. One of this is the sale of Nikola Kalinic to Atletico Madrid.

According to Tuttosport, the agreement with the Spanish giants could be announced tomorrow after Paolo Maldini’s official presentation. The 30 year old centre forward will move to Spain for a fee of around 20 million euros. It’s is not yet clear the formula of this operation with earlier reports claiming that Kalinic’s transfer would be on loan with the right or obligation to buy.

The Rossoneri signed Nikola Kalinic last summer for a figure of 25 million euros from Fiorentina. The Croatian failed to justify the investment made and scored only 6 goals in 41 appearances. Too little for AC Milan.
