AC Milan secure yet another spectacular win with many players taking the chance given by coach Pioli.
AC Milan secure yet another victory in Europa League. After the fine performance against Celtic, the Rossoneri dominate Sparta Prague and win 3-0 thanks to goals from Brahim Diaz, Rafael Leao and Diogo Dalot.
A sold performance in defence led by Simon Kjaer. It was also interested to see how Tatarusanu would react after the disappointing display against Roma. The Romanian goalkeeper managed to keep a clean sheet. Attentive but not much disturbed by the opponents.
Portuguese defender Diogo Dalot made his first minute debut at San Siro and immediately proved why Manchester United were not willing to give Milan an option to make his transfer permanent. Dalot marked his debut with an assist for Leao and later scored from the edge of the box.
A vital part in the final result played the midfield duo. Ismael Bennacer was undoubtedly the man of the match commanding the midfield and assisted Dalot. Sandro Tonali too made a very good performance earning the praise of coach Pioli. The Italian youngster showed why he is one of the best talents in European football. Krunic does his job but without anything special.
Zlatan assisted Brahim Diaz in AC Milan’s first goal and later won a penalty. However, he was not accurate from the penalty spot. Leao does a bit better in the second half. On the wings Brahim Diaz finds the back of the net again but Castillejo was disappointing and selfish at times.
AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu 6, Calabria 6.5, Conti 6, Kjaer 7, Romagnoli 6.5, Diogo Dalot 7.5, Bennacer 8, Tonali 7, Castillejo 5.5, Krunic 6, Brahim Diaz 6.5, Ibrahimovic 6, Rafael Leao 6.5.
