Gazzetta: AC Milan put 11 players on the market
AC Milan are looking to sell eleven players this summer. Some will leave Milan for financial reasons while others for tactical motives.
ATTACK – It seems like Argentine striker Angel Correa will join AC Milan no matter the arguable transfer fee. Maldni and Boban are in love with him and want the 24-year-old to become a future leader of the Rossoneri.
Now that Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Rodrigo from Valencia, Correa is free to join the Rososneri. The Spanish club continue to insist on their 55 million asking price while Milan remain firm on their initial offer of 45 million, bonuses included. Despite the 10 million distance, a deal is just a matter of time.
However, AC Milan need to make an important sale in order to finance a move. Andre Silva is the player that Milan are desperately trying to offload this summer. His failed move to Monaco was costly for Milan. Espanyol have expressed interest in the Portuguese striker while his agent, Jorge Mendes, is trying to sell him to Valencia to replace Rodrigo.
Samu Castillejo is another player not part of Marco Giampaolo’s project. Villarreal would love to bring him back to Spain but would prefer a loan move while AC Milan pretend 20 million for the right winger and will green-light his transfer only on a permanent deal.
Finally, but certainly not the last, Suso. Coach Giampaolo would like to keep him at San Siro at all costs while AC Milan have placed Suso at the very top positions on the list of expendable players, always due to the necessity to make a considerable capital gain. However, if Milan manage to sell Silva then Suso will likely be taken off the market.
