AC Milan will shop again at Real Madrid in the summer with five Los Blancos players on the Rossoneri’s radar in search for new Theo Hernandez’s.
Theo Hernandez is certainly AC Milan’s best summer signing. The French fullback took Serie A by storm earning praise from everyone but it was not so at the beginning with many claiming that Milan were doing Real Marid a favor by signing a finished player. A great signing at €20 million and Milan will try to repeat a similar operation this summer with 5 players targeted by the Rossoneri.
The Italian press reports that a number of players who failed to establish themselves at Real Madrid like Brahim Diaz, Alvaro Odriozola, Mariano Diaz, Luka Jovic and Dani Ceballos could soon join AC Milan.
In the summer Real Madrid spent €60 million to buy Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt but the Serbian striker has been a huge flop scoring just 2 goals. He was supposed to be Karim Benzema’s replacement but due to his disappointing performances he will leave in the summer. His market value has dipped to 30-40 million.
After a fine season at Lyon, Mariano Diaz failed to establish himself at Real and is available for 15 million. Former Manchester City attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz is reportedly available for 18 million. The Spanish starlet will surely leave, either on loan or on a permanent transfer.
Dani Ceballos was very close to joining Milan last summer. The transfer failed because the Rossoneri refused to sign Ceballos with a buy-back clause in favor of Real Madrid. The Spanish midfielder thus joined Arsenal on loan but when he returns he must find a new club.
Alvaro Odriozola is currently on loan at Bayern Munich. Next season he must face the competition of Hakimi e Carvajal for a starting spot on the right. He is available for 15 million and Milan hope he could be the Theo Hernandez of the right flank.
