Sky Sport reports that five AC Milan players will miss the upcoming Serie A match with Hellas Verona due to injuries.
Sky Sport has offered an update on the situation of AC Milan players after today’s training session. Stefano Pioli’s team returned at Milanello immediately after yesterday’s disappointing draw against Udinese at San Siro.
The Rossoneri need to bounce back and on Sunday will face Hellas Verona away from San Siro. Just like the Udinese match, even the encounter with Verona will be tough with many players still out because of injuries.
Journalist Peppe Di Stefano reports that five Rossoneri players will miss Milan vs Verona. Starting with Ismael Bennacer and Mario Mandzukic who have been out for about ten days. The two should join the rest of the squad next week.
Still injured are also Hakan Calhanoglu and Daniel Maldini. They will miss the Bentegodi match but hopefully will be available for the first Europa League match against Manchester United.
Even more disturbing is the situation of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish striker underwent a physiotherapy session today and was headed back ton Sanremo where he will participate in the next three days. In the best case scenario he will return on the pitch for the second Europa League match against Manchester United.
