5 AC Milan targets for the midfield

AC Milan are looking for a midfielder. The goal of Leonardo and Maldini is to find a player who can collect the legacy of Lucas Biglia and Montolivo for the present and also the future.

Cesc Fabregas | Chelsea

The new name in Leonardo’s list is that of an old target. Spanish maestro Cesc Fabregas is looking for a new squad for next season. The former Arsenal and Barcelona central midfielder has a contract with Chelsea until 2019 but may leave already in January.

The Spain international doesn’t seem to fit in coach Maurizio Sarri’s schemes and will not be offered the renewal by the English giants. For several years Fabregas has been in the orbit of AC Milan but a deal has never been agreed.

According to recent reports Chelsea are very interested in Rossoneri winger Suso (read here) and plan to offer Tiemoue Bakayoko (on a permanent deal) plus cash or Cesc Fabregas. A tempting offer for the Red and Black even though Suso remains one of the best players in the team.
