La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that three AC Milan players have recovered in time from the Europa League match with Manchester United.
An almost unprecedented emergency is the one that has plagued AC Milan in recent days. Many players were missing in yesterday’s match at the Bentegodi. Nevertheless, the Rossoneri won 2-0 thanks to goals from Rade Krunic and Diogo Dalot.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport is finally reporting good news concerning the injury situation. According to the Italian newspaper three key players have recovered in time for the Europa League match against Manchester United.
Theo Hernandez, Sandro Tonali and Ante Rebic will be under Stefano Pioli’s order for Thursday’s game at Old Trafford. The French full-back was rested as a precautionary measure after a severe bruise. The Italian midfielder has recovered from fatigue while the Croatian winger has overcame the pain in his hip that left him out of the Verona match.
Of these three names, probably only Theo Hernandez is sure to start from the first minute against Manchester United. Sandro Tonali is battling with Meite (excellent performance yesterday) while Rebic will be evaluated step by step if he is ready to start from the first minute.
Three other players will be available for the very important Serie A match against Napoli next Sunday.
