Parma vs Milan, probable lineups
AC Milan face Parma on Saturday. The Rossoneri desperately need a win to stay in the Champions League race.
Tomorrow, at 18:00 CET, Parma host AC Milan at the Ennio Tardini stadium. Parma vs Milan is a crucial match for both clubs. The Rossoneri need to bounce back after the recent disappointing results because Champions League qualification is at risk. While second-bottom Parma risk relegation to Serie B.
For Parma vs Milan, Pioli can smile because nearly all of the injured players will be back under his orders with the exception of Davide Calabria. Once again Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori will form the central duo with Theo Hernandez on the left. On the right, Pierre Kalulu is slightly in advantage over Diogo Dalot.
Despite the underwhelming performance against Sampdoria, Pioli has faith in Ismael Bennacer and the Algerian midfielder will start from the first minute alongside Franck Kessie. Their partnership was key to the Rossoneri’s streak of positive results in the first half of the season.
Pioli’s experiment of playing Alexis Saelemaekers in the right back position was a total disaster so the Belgium winger will return to his advanced position. Ante Rebic will play on the other wing and with Hakan Calhanoglu they complete the attacking trio in support of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The return of Leao, Brahim and Mandzukic will offer Pioli more choices in the second half.
PARMA (4-3-3): Sepe, Conti, Bani, Gagliolo, Pezzella, Kucka, Hernani, Kurtic, Man, Pelle, Gervinho.
AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma, Kalulu, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Tomori, Hernandez, Bennacer, Kessie, Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic. Ibrahimovic.
