AC Milan vs Venezia, probable lineups

Coach Pioli will make a big number of formation changes for AC Milan vs Venezia. Some players are injured while others will be rested.

Tonight, at 20:45 CET, AC Milan will host Venezia at the San Siro stadium for the fifth week of Serie A. Milan vs Venezia is an insidious for the Rossoneri as usual are the encounters with the newly promoted clubs. AC Milan currently find themselves with 10 points after 4 games and, despite the many injuries, Stefano Pioli’s side will be fighting for another victory.

The Italian coach will rely on the usual 4-2-3-1 formation. Pioli is planning a big number of formation changes for Milan vs Venezia. Some are forced changes while some players will be given a chance to rest.

In goal there will obviously be Mike Maignan. In front of the former Lille, there will be only two confirmations from the Juventus match. Captain Alessio Romagnoli will partner with Mattia Gabbia at the heart of the defence. Tomori will be given a chance to rest. Theo Hernandez will play on the left with Pierre Kalulu on the right.

Sandro Tonali is highly confirmed in midfield after the more than convincing start to the season. Alongside him there will be Ismael Bennacer. The Algerian will take the spot of Franck Kessie who performances have been disappointing lately.

Both Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao are confirmed in attack while the name of the right winger is the only doubt. Alessandro Florenzi is currently in advantage over Alexis Saelemaekers. Olivier Giroud has returned to training but will not be available for Milan vs Venezia. Thus Ante Rebic will lead the attack once again.

AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Kalulu, Gabbia, Romagnoli, Theo; Tonali, Bennacer; Florenzi (Saelemaekers), Brahim Diaz, Leao; Rebic.

VENEZIA (4-3-3): Menpaa, Mazzocchi, Caldara, Ceccaroni, Molinaro, Peretz, Vacca, Busio, Aramu, Henry, Johnsen.
