Udinese vs AC Milan, probable lineups
Coach Stefano Pioli has no doubts for Udinese vs Milan. Donnarumma, Hauge and Gabbia have return to train with the team.
Having overcome the Sparta Prague obstacle in Europa League, Milan now have to face Udinese at Stadio Friuli. Udinese vs Milan has often proved a very difficult match for the Rossoneri, who do not have a very good relationship even with the time (12:30 CET) of the match.
However, Stefano Pioli’s side is experiencing a positive moment, they haven’t lost in 23 games and are in good health. The Rossoneri are keen to consolidate their leadership in Serie A and therefore it is important to win against Udinese. Another good news from Milanello is the full recovery of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Jens Petter Hauge and Matteo Gabbia who have tested negative for Coronavirus and have returned to the squad.
Pioli for Udinese vs Milan will confirm the usual 4-2-3-1 formation. Gigio Donnarumma should return between the posts with Ciprian Tatarusanu freeing his spot. Theo Hernandez returns to the left in defense, while the rest of the department will be completed by Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer and Alessio Romagnoli. Despite his excellent performance in Europa League, Diogo Dalot will have to wait his moment in the second half.
Franck Kessie returns in midfield from the start after making room for Sandro Tonali against Sparta Prague. The former Atalanta midfielder will be joined by Ismael Bennacer, the man of the match in the last Europa League match.
The leading striker will, of course, be Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Alexis Saelemaekers and Hakan Calhanoglu, on the bench on Thursday at San Siro, will be in his support with Rafael Leao on the left winger.
UDINESE (3-5-2): Musso; Samir, De Maio, Becao (Bonifazi); Larsen, De Paul, Arslan, Pereyra, Ouwejan; Lasagna (Deulofeu), Okaka.
AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rafael Leao; Ibrahimovic.
