Coach Stefano Pioli has clear ideas about the AC Milan eleven that will face Hellas Verona at San Siro.
After the disappointing collapse in Europa League against Lille, the Rossoneri need to bounce back in the league. AC Milan vs Verona will be played tonight at 20:45, at the San Siro.
Coach Stefano Pioli will rely on his usual eleven for this match. In defense returns Davide Calabria who was rested against Lille after a muscle injury and looks set to take back his place on the right again. The department will be completed by the usual central duo Simon Kjaer and Alessio Romagnoli with Theo Hernandez on the left.
In midfield Franck Kessie will reteam with Ismael Bennacer. The Algerian, who took over from Sandro Tonali in the second half in Europa League on Thursday, was the only AC Milan player to perform against Lille.
Just like Calabria, Alexis Saelemaekers missed the Europa League match but he will start from the first minute in Milan vs Verona. Hakan Calhanoglu will play behind the striker but Pioli has a big doubt on the left wing. Rafael Leao seems in advantage over Ante Rebic with the Croatian eager to make his comeback from the first minute. The centre forward will obviously be Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rafael Leao (Rebic); Ibrahimovic.
HELLAS VERONA (3-4-2-1): Silvestri; Ceccherini, Lovato, Magnani (Empereur); Lazovic, Tameze, Ilic, Demarco; Zaccagni, Barak; Kalinic.
