Milan vs Lazio, probable lineups
AC Milan host Lazio at San Siro in the last Serie A match for 2020. Five Rossoneri players are out because of injuries and suspension.
After two consecutive draws the Rossoneri returned to the winning ways against Sassuolo. Tonight’s Milan vs Lazio will be the last match for December and the Rossoneri aim to close the year as Serie A leaders.
The Biancocelesti are a tough opponent and Stefano Pioli will not have at his disposal a bunch of players for Milan vs Lazio. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Gabbia, Kjaer and Bennacer are injured while Franck Kessie is suspended. Fortunately, Ante Rebic and Sandro Tonali have recovered just in time.
The back four will be the same as with Sassuolo. Youngster Pierre Kalulu will form the central duo with captain Alessio Romagnoli. Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria complete the defence with Gigio Donnarumma in goal.
The presence of Sando Tonali means one less problem for Pioli. The young Italian midfielder will play alongside Rade Krunic. Had Tonali not recovered it would have been Hakan to drop in his old role as central midfielder.
After a couple of games as centre forward Ante Rebic will return in his natural position on the left wing. Alexis Saelemaekers will play on the right with Calhanoglu in the middle. The trio will be in support of Rafael Leao tasked to lead the attack for Milan vs Lazio.
AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma, Calabria, Kalulu, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez, Krunic, Tonali, Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic, Leao.
LAZIO (3-5-2): Reina, Luiz Filipe, Hoedt, Radu, Lazzari, Milinkovic Savic, Escalante, Luis Alberto, Marusic, Immobile, Caicedo.
