AC Milan vs Bologna

AC Milan-Bologna

AC Milan host former coach Mihajlovic and his Bologna at San Siro in another important match for the European ambitions of the Rossoneri.

Tonight at 21:45 AC Milan host Bologna at San Siro. Milan vs Bologna marks the return of former coach Sinisa Mihajlovic at the Rossoneri. The last match between the two teams ended 3-2 in favor of Pioli’s side. The Red and Blacks are currently sharing the sixth spot in Serie A with Napoli and need to continue with victories in order to secure a place in Europa League for next season.

Coach Stefano Pioli will make little changes for Milan vs Bologna. Alessio Romagnoli and Simon Kjaer will form the central duo in defence with Theo Hernandez on the right and Davide Calabria on the left. Milan vs Bologna is apparently the last chance for Davide to show that he must stay at Milan.

Once again Pioli is asking Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie to make sacrifices with the two forming the midfield dam. Regarding the three players in front of them, the situation of Lucas Paqueta is not year clear after the Brazilian suffered a slight injury.

Alexis Saelemaekers returns after the red card suspension and will play from the first minute on the right wing with Ante Rebic on the left and Hakan Calhanoglu as attacking midfielder.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic appeared a bit nervous in the last match, nevertheless, the Swedish striker will lead the attack in Milan vs Bologna. In today’s press conference, coach Pioli declared: “If I ask him the answer is sure, he is fine and wants to play“.
