AC Milan want to return to victory against Genoa with Pierre Kalulu and Dalot making their Serie A debut from the first minute.
Tonight AC Milan face Genoa at Stadio Luigi Ferraris in a challenge that is anything but easy. The Rossoblu are penultimate in Serie A standings and are not going through a positive moment but the Rossoneri team is literally decimated by injuries. For Genoa vs Milan, coach Pioli will have to do without Kjaer, Gabbia, Bennacer and Ibrahimovic.
The Swedish striker has returned to do personal training since yesterday but is unable to recover in time. Matteo Gabbia and Ismael Bennacer, on the other hand, will surely stay out until 2021.
No doubt on goal with Gigio Donnarumma as always between the posts. At the center captain Romagnoli will be joined by Pierre Kalulu, on his seasonal debut in Serie A. The former Lyon has overtaken both Duarte and Musacchio in the defence hierarchy. Theo Hernandez and Diogo Dalot complete the back four. Pioli has decided to give the Portuguese a chance in Serie A and rest Davie Calabria reports Sky Sport.
For Genoa vs Milan the choices are mandatory in midfield given the absence of Bennacer. Sandro Tonali will support the irreplaceable Kessie, who will have to be very careful since he is one yellow card away from suspension. For the former Brescia it will be another opportunity to show once again the progress has shown in the last games.
In the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ante Rebic is the designated substitute. The Croatian has been unable to express himself at his best from in the centre forward role and has not yet found the back of the net. Still, his movements to open the spaces will be important for his teammates. Behind Rebic the three attacking midfielders, starting from the left, will be Rafael Leao, Hakan Calhanoglu and Alexis Saelemaekers. The Belgium winger seems to have fully recovered from the intestinal virus that kept him out against Parma.
