AC Milan will face Crotone in their first Serie A match away from San Siro. Coach Pioli will make two key changes.
Two days after the victory against Bodo Glimt, the Rossoneri are preparing for another match. Today AC Milan will face Crotone at Ezio Scida stadium. Crotone want to redeem themselves after the heavy defeat against Genoa.
Stefano Pioli will have under his orders Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao, even if the latter will probably start from the bench. Tough choices are expected in defense, where the emergency will continue until the October break.
Calabria, Kjaer, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez will form the back four. Pioli will confirm the quartet already lined up against Shamrock, Bologna and Bodo, having no alternative both at the center and on the right. In goal, as usual, there will be Gigio Donnarumma. Sandro Tonali will make his debut from the first minute alongside Kessie. The Italian midfielder is in advantage over Bennacer.
In the absence of Ibrahimovic, who resulted positive with Covid, it will be Ante Rebic to take on the role of centre forward. Brahim Diaz too will make his first minute debut taking Samu Castillejo’s spot on the right. In the other two roles there will be Calhanoglu and Saelemaekers. Colombo will start from the bench, as will Leao, still far from the best condition but in need of play time ahead of next Thursday’s trip to Portugal.
CROTONE (3-5-2): Cordaz; Magallan, Marrone, Golemic; Rispoli (Pereira), Eduardo (Dragus), Cigarini, Zanellato, Molina; Simy, Messias.
AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma G.; Calabria, Kjaer, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Tonali; Diaz, Calhanoglu, Saelemaekers; Rebic.
