Brescia vs Milan, probable lineups
Coach Stefano Pioli has resolved his doubts for the upcoming match of AC Milan against Brescia. The Rossoneri are in search of their third Serie A win.
The 21-st round of Serie A starts with AC Milan facing Brescia tonight at 20:45 CET, at Stadio Mario Rigamonti. The Rossoneri are in search of their third consecutive win in Serie A while Brescia are expected to fight until the end of the season to avoid relegation.
For Brescia vs Milan coach Stefano Pioli has recovered Musacchio and Calhanoglu. Davide Calabria remains out while Lucas Paqueta has asked not to be part of this match. The return of the Argentine defender will see him replace Simon Kjaer in defence alongside captain Alessio Romagnoli. Andrea Conti and Theo Hernandez will complete the back line.
The biggest dilemma concerns the role of left midfielder where Calhanoglu, Bonaventura and Rebic are fighting for one available slot. After a great match winning performance against Udinese it would be logical for Pioli to confirm Ante Rebic but the Italian coach said he views the Croatian more as an attacking player foreshadowing the start from the first minute of Hakan Calhanoglu. Regarding the rest of the department, Castillejo will be on the right with Bennacer and Kessie at the center.
No doubt on the attacking duo. Once again Zlatan Ibrahimovic will partner with Rafael Leao. Just like in recent games, Suso and Piatek must sit on the bench and wait for their chance in the second half. The last match between AC Milan and Brescia ended 1-0 thanks to a goal from Calhanoglu.
BRESCIA (4-3-1-2): Joronen; Sabelli, Chancellor, Cistana, Mateju; Romulo, Tonali, Bisoli; Spalek; Donnarumma, Torregrossa.
AC MILAN (4-4-2): G. Donnarumma; Conti, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Castillejo, Kessie, Bennacer, Calhanoglu; Ibrahimovic, Rafael Leao.
