AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli has done a great work since his arrival that is being reflected on the market value of the players.
The post lockdown AC Milan is a spectacular and winning team and credit is largely given to Stefano Pioli, who has managed to transform the Rossoneri into a real team after a disappointing start under Marco Giampaolo.
But the AC Milan coach has another great merit, namely that of enhancing the market value of several Rossoneri players, such as Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie, Ante Rebic, Theo Hernandez and Samuel Calhanoglu.
Tuttosport via (MilanNews.it) reports that the value of these players has increased by a total of 100 million euros. Among the bets won by the Rossoneri there are certainly Bennacer and Theo Hernandez, who arrived in Milanello a year ago for 16 and 20 million euros respectively. Now their price tag has jumped to 42 and 50 million euros.
The Algerian, starting from next year, will be worth even more because he has in his contract a release clause of 50 million euros valid from 2021. The performances of Ante Rebic in 2020, another new purchase of the last summer window, have been simply top notch and his market value compared to last summer has practically doubled (from 20 to 40 million).
As for Kessie and Calhanoglu, in recent seasons there has been no shortage of criticism for both, but now everything has changed and the two have become reference points for AC Milan squad in every game. The value of the Ivorian midfielder has risen from 21 to 30 million, while that of the Turkish has increased from 20 to 35 million. And keep in mind that all this figures have a considerable decrease due to the Coronavirus situation.
Behind their explosion there is certainly the great work of Stefano Pioli, who the more time passes and the more reasons gives to Elliott to keep him also for next season. Unfortunately for him, however, the American fund seems to have already made a final decision.
